Lit by a security light at night, a woman is seated in front of a workshop door surrounded by building construction materials. — The last of 15 Site Navigation Stories takes me full circle to my first self-portrait with a stepladder propped against a wall, made for the Multistory commission Seeing in Isolation, 2021. It is hard to imagine in less than two years, despite moving house four times, having had glaucoma laser treatment and an eye operation, that I am adapting my photography through touch, sound, and smell.
