Site Navigation Stories 4

Woman with grey-blond hair standing in a conservatory under suspended parasol and disco light, and a woman with long brown hair looking at her through a glass-panelled door.
My creative direction had begun to change, to include the presence of others in my photographs, by the time I wished to photograph my friend Mel in her conservatory. She was ironing and I chose to stand observing her from a warmly lit interior. I registered that it matters less to me if I am slow at seeing, or that my observations feel as though I am outside of my surroundings.
