A collage of photographs and quotations from newspaper articles map the lead up to an attack on a man in Cambridge, England.
After Mel told me about Mr Raymond Boyle, I looked online at the attack that led to his death and found a photograph of him with his kind and unassuming expression. Documented in the first collage is Mel and my walk to a local Co‑op Food store where the accused and his friend had bought their alcohol on the evening of the attack. I have shopped there regularly over the years. We walked in the direction of the River Cam taking the same route the two young men did to Jesus Green.

A collage of photographs and quotations from newspaper articles map the retelling of a crime scene in Cambridge, England.
This night‑time collage of photographs commemorates the life of Mr Raymond Boyle. I wanted to photograph near the bench where Mel had sat on the previous occasion, close to the place he was attacked. It turned out to be within hours of his death 10 years and one month earlier. The collage is followed by my photograph of the river scene.
